IndiGo launches 14th destination

IndiGo started service today to Agartala, its 14th destination, on 21-May-07. IndiGo will connect Agartala to Kolkata and onward to Hyderabad and Bangalore on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with its ninth brand-new A320.

The airline currently operates 58 daily flights with a fleet of nine brand new A320 aircraft and flies to 14 destinations, including Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Imphal, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Vadodara and Agartala.

IndiGo will take delivery of six additional brand-new A320 aircraft this year, taking the fleet size to 15 by the end of 2007. It plans to serve approximately 30 Indian cities by 2010, with a fleet of approximately 40 A320s.
