AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), announced today that the airline will offer double A+ Rewards credits to all A+ Rewards members when they fly to or from Milwaukee to any AirTran Airways destination through February 10, 2010.
When A+ Rewards members purchase travel, they will earn four A+ Rewards credits for every round-trip to or from Milwaukee flown by February 10, 2010, instead of the usual two credits. There is no fee to become a member of the A+ Rewards program and travelers must be A+ Rewards members at the time of departure to earn double credits through this offer. To register for this promotion or to join the program, customers should visit: aplusrewards.com before travelling.
"AirTran Airways appreciates our loyal A+ Rewards customers and the support they've show us throughout the year," said Tad Hutcheson, vice president of marketing and sales for AirTran Airways. "In the spirit of the holiday season, we are proud to give back when it matters most to our A+ Rewards members. Our Milwaukee double A+ credits promotion is just one of the many benefits we offer our loyal customers and an advantage of being an A+ Rewards member."
AirTran Airways' award-winning A+ Rewards program is unlike many other airline frequent flier programs. Rather than rewarding members for actual miles flown, the program counts one-way trips, enabling members to earn free trips on AirTran Airways or any other airline with no blackout dates to anywhere in the world, complimentary space available upgrades and other Elite features quickly.
