Tiger: millions of low fare seats on sale today
One in five Australians can fly with Tiger Airways in 2010.

Millions of new season fares are on sale today on popular routes across the Tiger Airways network for travel period from 28 March 2010 – 30 October 2010.

Plus new Brisbane – Rockhampton route announced today to become Tiger Airways’ third route from Brisbane and first intrastate route ever.

Thursday 12 November 2009: Millions of new season fares go on sale today for a number of popular routes across the Tiger Airways network for travel period between 28 March 2010 and 30 October 2010.

Tiger Airways Australia Managing Director, Shelley Roberts, says “We’re releasing our new season fares for 2010 in phases. Today we have millions of new low fare seats on sale and there are still more to come, so watch this space for more of Australia’s lowest fares,” she says.

“With the millions of seats Tiger Airways will put on sale next year, we’re providing the opportunity for one in five Australians to fly with Tiger Airways in 2010.”

A highlight of Tiger Airways’ new season schedule (from 28 March – 30 October 2010), is an increase in flights on the popular Melbourne – Sunshine Coast route which increases from four weekly flights currently, to daily flights.

In addition to increased flights between Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast, Tiger Airways also announces a new route between Brisbane and Rockhampton, the first intrastate route for Australia’s true low fare airline. Daily flights between Brisbane and Rockhampton are now on sale from just $38* for travel from 28 March – 30 October 2010. With the new Brisbane – Rockhampton route, Tiger Airways will fly 20 routes across Australia spanning every State and Territory in the country and providing more than 15 million people with local airport access to Tiger Airways.
