Reno Airport: New non-stop to Denver on Southwest Airlines

Reno-Tahoe International Airport is proud to announce a new nonstop daily flight to Denver, Colorado on Southwest Airlines starting 10-Jan-2010.
The new Denver service will be the first flight between Reno and the Mile-high City to be offered by Southwest. It will feature a 137-seat Boeing 737 and will enhance Reno’s connections to the east coast by flying on to Boston, Massachusetts with same-plane direct service after stopping in Denver. "New non-stop service to Denver is fantastic news for our community and sameplane service to Boston is something we have worked hard to achieve for several years,” Krys Bart, President/CEO of Reno-Tahoe International Airport, said.
"It adds Southwest service to a major hub airport in the west and offers same-plane service to another major hub on the East Coast.” “This is a great air service victory for our community during tough economic times and it highlights our outstanding partnership with Southwest Airlines,” Bart said. In just the past few months, Reno-Tahoe International has announced several new flights despite the challenging economy. Reno-Tahoe has added a non-stop daily flight Phoenix on Southwest, Saturday-only service to Minneapolis on Delta Air Lines, ski season non-stop service to Mammoth Lakes on Horizon Air and now a the new flight to Denver.
"We are striving to add air service to our community and to do our part to overcome these unprecedented economic times,” Bart said. “We are also asking the community to support our efforts by filling these seats to Denver and Boston.” The Denver flight is on sale today with a low fare of $117 one way to Denver and $204 one way, one stop, to Boston. The Denver flight will depart Reno Monday through Friday at 12:30 p.m. and arrive in Denver at 3:40 p.m. It will continue on to Boston with a 9:55 p.m. arrival.
The flight will depart Reno on Saturday’s at 1:20 p.m. and arrive in Denver at 4:30 p.m. It will continue on to Boston with a 10:45 p.m. arrival. On Sunday’s, the flight will depart Reno at 12:55 p.m. and arrive in Denver at 4:05 p.m. and continue on to Boston with a 10:20 p.m. arrival. It will depart Denver Monday through Friday at 10:35 a.m. and arrive in Reno at noon. On Saturday’s, it will depart Denver at 11:25 a.m. and arrive in Reno at 12:50 p.m. On Sundays, it will depart Denver at 11:00 a.m. and arrive in Reno at 12:25 p.m.
