AirAsia Berhad Announcement
Termination of the Letter of Intent Between Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group (“Vinashin”) and AirAsia Berhad (“AirAsia”) dated 31st August 2007 (“LOI”)
Further to our announcement dated 30 August 2007 on the LOI between AirAsia and Vinashin, AirAsia wishes to announce that through effluxion of time, the LOI no longer has any binding effect on the parties.
As a matter of formality, AirAsia has through a letter dated 10th August 2009 informed Vinashin that the LOI is now of no further effect save for confidentiality provisions which the parties had agreed to upon signing the LOI.
