Wizz Air opens new routes to Italy and offers re-routing alternatives to Myair passengers

Wizz Air, the largest low fare – low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would launch two new routes from Bucharest in reaction to the changing competitive landscape. The airline will offer flights to Catania and Bologna/Forli from 21 September and 28 Octoberrespectively.

 

 The flights will be operated twice a week initially. Wizz Air has an extensive network from Romania to Italy offering 12 Italian routes from its three Romanian bases Former Myair passengers who wish to travel to Milan/Bergamo are welcome to rebook on Wizz Air flights on the same route. Those who were traveling to Venice can take a Wizz Air flights to Venice/Treviso and passengers to Rimini can chose to fly to Forli/Bologna.  One way, all inclusive fares start from as low as EUR 17.49. Wizz Air has demonstrated continuous commitment to the Romanian market by introducing new routes and bases, increasing frequencies on existing routes and providing travel alternatives to stranded passengers of other airlines.
