Southwest Airlines Adding Daily Nonstop to Phoenix from Manchester

Boston Regional Airport's largest air carrier, Southwest Airlines, has announced it will begin daily nonstop service to and from Phoenix, AZ on August 26, 2007.
The new flight to Phoenix (#1258) will depart Manchester each day at 6:30 AM and will arrive in Phoenix at 9:05 AM. The return flight (#1907) will depart Phoenix at 2:00 PM and arrive back in Manchester at 9:45 PM. With the addition of this new nonstop to Phoenix, Southwest Airlines will operate thirty-two daily departures from Manchester.
"This is great news for Manchester - Boston Regional Airport and air travelers across northern New England," stated Airport Director Kevin A. Dillon, AAE. "We are pleased that Southwest Airlines continues to invest in Manchester and strengthen its dominance in the region. This new daily flight to Phoenix provides much-needed service between Manchester and one of our most popular destinations. It also provides direct service, or convenient one-stop service to many other popular destinations on the West Coast. Adding another warm weather hub at Manchester will also improve our winter weather operations."
