AWAS delivers 2nd aircraft to Norweian Air Shuttle
AWAS has announced it has delivered its second Boeing 737-300 aircraft to Norwegian Air Shuttle in less than six months. MSN 27457 joins its sister aircraft MSN 27458 with the low fares airline which operates throughout Norway and other European cities.

Both aircraft operate with CFMI CFM 56-3 powered engines. The supply of these aircraft has contributed to the strong growth enjoyed by the Scandinavian lost cost carrier.

The addition of this second aircraft leased from AWAS brings their total fleet to 22 B737-300s in operation.

In 2006 Norwegian Air Shuttle carried more than 5.1 million passengers, an increase of 48% over 2005.
