Lowest Ever Fare to Tel Aviv Jets Off |

The first flight departed at 10am on y 21-May-2009 with Ian Doubtfire, MD at Jet2.com, Andrew Cornish, Managing Director at Manchester Airport, Lee Warren, Fleet Planning Manager at Jet2.com, Janice Mathers, Commercial Manager at Jet2.com, and special guest Rabbi Brodie from Beth Din in attendance to celebrate the launch of the flight to Tel Aviv.
Rabbi Brodie announced“I am delighted that Jet2.com has launched this direct route to Tel Aviv which is sure to appeal to many travellers.
“This welcome investment into tourism to Israel will undoubtedly be of benefit to the consumer and strengthen links between the North of England and Tel Aviv.” The airline is so confident that the service will be such a popular addition to its Manchester schedule that the route has recently been increased from weekly to twice weekly on the 21-Dec-2009 to 04-Jan-2009and from 22-Mar-2009 to 26-Apr-2009.
Managing Director for Manchester Airport, Andrew Cornish, announced “Jet2.com has been one of the success stories in the airline industry over the last few years. The Tel Aviv route will strengthen its position further at Manchester and offer both business and leisure passengers the option of visiting Israel.”
