President and CEO ,” Frederico Fleury Curado, Embraer announced“It is a great pleasure to deliver the first EMBRAER 190 to one of the iconic and fastest growing low-cost airlines in central Europe “NIKI’s decision brings additional visibility to our E-Jets family, since it emphasizes the value of the aircraft to a highly efficient airline that competes in one of the world’s most demanding market places.”

Benefiting from the unparalleled efficient operating costs of the E-Jets, as well as low fuel
burn and emissions levels, the low-cost carrier will become the first in Europe to combine the 100-seat EMBRAER 190, optimized for mid-density routes, with conventional 150- to 210- seat narrow-body aircraft, optimized for high-density routes, thus enjoying the benefits of a wider market coverage and greater business opportunities.

founder and President of NIKI Niki Lauda, announced Luftfahrt GmbH. “The EMBRAER 190 fits perfectly into our growth strategy. The aircraft is ideal for the establishment of new routes, as it keeps the start-up costs low and offers passengers the
familiar comfort of a medium-haul jet,“This latest-generation, advanced technology jet is, by far, the most economical in the 100–seat class. The carbon dioxide emissions are considerably lower than comparable jets, and it is the most environmentally-friendly airplane of this size.”
