A partir de junio, y con una frecuencia de tres veces al día, el Aeropuerto de Dusseldorf ofrecerá vuelos a London-Gatwick con Flybe. Se trata del aeropuerto alemán con mayor número de vuelos al Reino Unido.

A new destination in the flight plan of Düsseldorf International: Flybe will connect the North Rhine-Westphalian capital with London-Gatwick, the second largest British airport, from 22-Jun-09 onwards. Currently, Flybe already heads for Birmingham, Manchester and Southampton from Düsseldorf. By the new connection the already good route network to Great Britain will be further extended. Passengers in Düsseldorf may choose from 13 British destination airports - more than any other German airport offers.

Flybe serves the new route from Monday to Friday three times a day, one time on Saturdays and two times on Sundays. Gatwick, a new base of the British airline, is situated to the South of London and has a very good link to downtown. In this way, for example Victoria Station in the heart of London is easy to reach within just 30 minutes taking the Gatwick Express from the airport railway station in Gatwick, which travels every 15 minutes. Aside that, numerous further trains connect the airport directly with destinations in the South of England, e.g. Brigthon, Bedford, Reading and Portsmouth.

At Gatwick Airport Flybe passengers have a lot of transfer possibilities, for instance to Aberdeen, Belfast, Guernsey, or to the Isle of Man. Flybe is Europe's biggest regional low-cost carrier and aims especially at commercial travelers. It offers passengers a top-quality service including, for example, lounge access and other advantages, both on the ground and in the air.
