IndiGo, the award-winning low-fare domestic airline that is redefining airline quality standards in India, will be the first airline to enhance the hassle free experience for its outbound passengers with the launch of new Domestic Departure Terminal 1D at Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.
IndiGo’s 6E 201-Delhi-Guwahati flight will be the first flight to depart from newly inaugurated Terminal at 5.35am with more than 150 passengers on board. Nearly 3000 passengers are expected to fly IndiGo on 19-Apr-09.
In keeping with IndiGo’s promise of offering always affordable and on time flying experience, the airline has taken a slew of measures to enhance hassle free experience to its passengers Increase in check in counters from six to eight along with one counter for Excess Baggage Ticket (EBT) For passengers carrying hand bags or no check in luggage, they can opt for either of the two facilities offered by the airline
IndiGo Q- Busters, a handheld machine which instantly hands over the boarding pass to passengers thereby minimizing the hassle of long queues Check in through the self operated kiosks installed at the new terminal for added convenience
