Allegiant Air announces termination of Bellingham-Reno services
Allegiant Air, LLC today announces it will end its scheduled service between Bellingham, Wash. and Reno, Nev. The carrier’s last day of service to the Reno/Tahoe International Airport will be 29-May. Customers with reservations 01-Jun and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for reaccomodation.

 

Maurice J. Gallagher, Jnr president, CEO and chairman for Allegiant Air, announced, ”Unfortunately, due to lack of market demand, we will end our service between Reno and Bellingham, "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. Our flights to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Palm Springs remain unaffected by this announcement"

Allegiant Air began service to Reno-Tahoe International Airport 25-May-07. The airline currently offers flights to five other destinations including: Las Vegas; San Francisco-Oakland, Calif.; Palm Springs, Calif.; Phoenix-Mesa; and San Diego, Calif. Low-cost nonstop flights to Los Angeles will begin 02-May-09.
