Melbourne announces Tiger MEL-SYD services Tiger Airways will commence up to 4 flights per day between Melbourne and Sydney from 3-July-09.
Melbourne Airport CEO Chris Woodruff Stated that
“The MEL-SYD route is one of the busiest routes in the world, and Tiger has recognised this market.
“For business and leisure travelers flying between Victoria and New South Wales, these new services will give consumers even greater choice.”
Tiger is based in Melbourne and already operates a network to 10 destinations in Australia –Sydney will add an 11th destination to its network.
From Melbourne, Tiger currently flies direct to Adelaide, Alice Springs, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Mackay, Sunshine Coast, Perth, Rockhampton.
