bmibaby is celebrating after releasing January and Feb-09 on time performance statistics. During January 90.8% departed within fifteen minutes of their scheduled departure time. During February 84.4% departed within fifteen minutes, despite the terrible weather conditions experienced throughout the UK during the month.
Information from www.flightontime.info, which uses data from the Civil Aviation Authority, shows that the average number of scheduled flights departing on time was 69.3%, based on January to Sep-08 departures, so bmibaby is exceeding the industry average.
