Allegiant Air inaugurates (06-Mar-09) the nonstop service to the Southwest Florida Coast from Knoxville, Tenn. To celebrate, the airline is offering a special low one-day USD29 one-way fare to Charlotte County Airport, located midway between Sarasota and Fort Myers, Fla.
Until midnight 06-Mar, the airline will offer USD29 one-way fares on flights to/from McGhee Tyson Airport to/from Charlotte County Airport. The sale begins at 5 am EST and ends at 11:59 pm EST on 06-Mar. After the USD29 one-way fares, one-way fares to Charlotte County Airport will be on sale through 18-Mar with fares as low as USD39.
The new service operates twice weekly, with service Monday and Friday. Flights depart McGhee Tyson Airport at 4:30 pm arriving in Charlotte County Airport at 6:20 pm. Flights leaving Charlotte County Airport depart at 7 pm arriving in Knoxville at 8:50 pm. (all flight times are local.)
