Cebu Pacific starts Cebu-Legaspi service; flies to Catarman and Virac
Cebu Pacific (CEB) will start its Manila-Catarman, Manila-Virac, and Cebu-Legaspi services on 14-Feb-09 using its seventh brand new ATR 72-500 aircraft.

The new services will fly four times weekly, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Operating to new destinations from Manila, namely Catarman in Samar, Leyte and Virac in Catanduanes, Bicol, is part of the airline’s nation building efforts.

CEB VP for marketing and distribution, Candice Iyog said, “CEB is continuously expanding its domestic network because we want to help boost development within the country by linking islands together through an affordable means of transportation. Easier access to these areas can lead to more vibrant tourism and business activities.

CEB will also service a new route, Cebu – Legaspi. This increases the airline’s total number of weekly flights from Cebu, its second hub, to 412 from 406.
