JetBlue Airways reports Jan-09 traffic

JetBlue Airways Corporation reported (05-Feb-09) that its traffic in January decreased 7.1% from Jan-08, on a capacity decrease of 5.1%. Load factor for Jan-09 was 74.0%, a decrease of 1.6 points from Jan-08.

 

JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 98.4% and its on-time (1) performance was 74.7%. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of January increased 15% year over year.
