Jetstar revenue up 55.2% in first half
Qantas reports Jetstar A320 operations (including domestic Australia, trans-Tasman and short-haul international routes) achieved a profit before tax of AUD51 million in the first six months of its financial year - a four-fold increase on the previous corresponding period. Passenger revenue increased by AUD161 million in the period, up 55.2%. Capacity (ASKs) rose 50.7% year-on-year.
