Air Berlin to reduce fuel surcharge
Air Berlin announced (22-Jan-09) to reduce its fuel surcharge. From 27-Jan-09, Air Berlin will be charging up to EUR15 less in fuel surcharge per flight. On domestic German and European intercity flights the surcharge per flight will be reduced by EUR5 to EUR20.

 

On medium-haul tourist routes the fuel surcharge will be EUR25 instead of EUR35 with effect from 27-Jan-09. On flights to Egypt, Madeira, the Azores and the Canary Islands the fuel surcharge will be reduced from EUR45 to EUR35 per leg. On long-haul routes the surcharge will be reduced from EUR95 to EUR80, i.e. EUR15 less.
