AirAsia X to announce widebody order in Mar-07

AirAsia X confirmed it would complete its widebody aircraft evaluation in Mar-07. The carrier is currently considering A330-300 and B777-200 equipment, and is expected to order 20 aircraft.
AirAsia X will launch services from the Low Cost Terminal at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Aug-07, initially operating to destinations in the UK and China, with three leased aircraft.
