easyJet expands services for Summer 2009
easyJet announced (06-Jan-09) that it is opening 14 new routes across Europe for Summer 2009. Nine of the new routes will operate from UK regional airports. Fares for the new routes will start from GBP22.99 including tax.

As part of the expansion, easyJet will base an additional aircraft at Liverpool from 01-Jun-09 and at Manchester from 04-Aug-09.

Andy Harrison, easyJet’s Chief Executive, said:

“We start the new year with 14 new routes which will be popular with sun seekers, city breakers and business travellers alike.

We are proud to keep growing in Liverpool and Manchester, where we will base additional aircraft that will boost the local economy, create much needed jobs and give even more destinations at our famously low fares.”
