Jetstar Pacific Airlines to raise charter capital
The Prime Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Tan Dung has signed (14-Dec-08) a decision to allow Jetstar Pacific Airlines to raise its charter capital through issuing shares to the company's current shareholders.

Foreign investors can buy a maximum of 49% of the Jetstar Pacific's total value. Besides, the State's Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) will pour more capital so as to take 51% of the company's total property.

Foreign investors can buy the Jetstar Pacific's shares under the PM’s Decision 480/QĐ-TTg dated on 25-Apr-04 on the Project to rearrange Jetstar Pacific.

Jetstar Pacific Airlines is a cheap, multi-owned aviation company. Its strategic partner, Australia' Qantas Airlines, invested USD50 million, accounting for 30% of the company's shares.

Foreign investors are encouraged to increase their capital ownership in the company to the maximum of 49%.
