Ryanair releases additional seats for Christmas sale

Ryanair released (15-Dec-08) an extra 250,000 seats as part of its 12 Days of Christmas Seat Sale, as prices reached the half way point of EUR6 (one way), with fares increasing EUR1 each day until 21-Dec-08 when fares peak at EUR12 (one way including taxes).
Ryanair’s 12 Days of Christmas Seat Sale fares, which include all taxes and charges, offer seats for travel from 07-Jan-09 to 12-Feb-09 on 250 routes across Ryanair’s European network.
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:
“Ryanair’s 12 Days of Christmas Seat Sale has seen thousands of passengers across Europe snap up Europe’s lowest fares. However, with fares still only EUR€6, but rising each day, we urge shoppers to log on to www.ryanair.com to secure a great value Christmas gift or plan a New Year get away as part of Ryanair’s final sale of 2008.
“Our 12 Days of Christmas fares increase by EUR1 each day until 21st December when fares peak at just EUR12. Demand has been huge so we have released an additional 250,000 seats to ensure that everyone can find a great value fare – without any geese, partridges, turtle doves or French hens in sight.”
