New aircraft for Sterling Airlines
As a part of Sterling target to be Europe most environmentally friendly airline, the company will replace in March 2007 two of the oldest aircraft of its young fleet with 3 new Boeing 737-700. Two of them will come directly from Boeing factory in Seattle.

Sterling reported earlier this month that they will reduce their CO2 emissions per passenger up to 10% over the next three years. This target will be reached with new landing procedures & taxiing procedures after landing coupled with our environmentally friendly fleet.

”Responsibility for the environment is a common cause where all airlines’ companies can contribute positively in their operations. We replace two aircraft with completely new & more environmentally friendly aircraft, our focus on environment always being there in order to reduce CO2 emissions per passenger by 10% over the next three years” said Sterling commercial director Stefan Vilner.

Med venlig hilsen,

Sterling
