Air Berlin named “World’s Leading Budget Airline”

Air Berlin won the World Travel Award category of “World’s Leading Budget Airline” for the second year. Other nominees included Easyjet, and JetBlue Airways from the US. Air Berlin’s CEO, Joachim Hunold, commented: The fact that the World Travel Award’s international panel of judges have once again chosen Air Berlin as best in category reflects our full-service offering, efficiency levels and comfort on-board.
