Mandala Airlines receives award from PR Society of Indonesia
PR Society of Indonesia announced (28-Nov-08) at the Annual International PR & Communicators Conference 2008 in Jakarta that the organization is honoring a 2008 PR award for CEO Mandala Airlines Warwick Brady.

The award is for his achievement in transforming Mandala from the former army-owned
company into modern generation airline based on international safety and quality
standards. Warwick Brady is selected for this award as a leader that successfully
restructured a government owned company into one of the leading airline companies in
Indonesia in what is now called the “New Mandala”.

President of PR Society of Indonesia Magdalena Wenas said, “The award is given on a
professional integration of new and continuing relationship with stakeholders by
managing all communications and contacts that create and protect the reputation of an
organization, which in the judgment on the Board is the result of societal integration,
corporate structure integration, management function integration and stakeholder
relationship integration.”

Warwick Brady said that he was very proud in achieving the award. He said, “The award is a part of the company’s result in achieving the public’s need. The success of the
transformation is also due to all the hard work from all our employees of Mandala
Airlines and I am proud to be part of the restructuring.”
