Air Berlin receives ‘Best Low Cost Airlines’ award
Air Berlin picked up the ‘Best Low Cost Airline’ prize in the Telegraph Travel Awards held at The Honourable Artillery Company in London. Results this year were collated from the responses of more than 25,000 readers.

Titus Johnson, Air Berlin’s Country Manager for the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands, said: "Winning the Telegraph Travel Awards for a second year running is proof that consumers understand they need not substitute comfort and service to get lower fares."

"Air Berlin prides itself on providing the best value to both leisure and corporate customers. We are intent on keeping the frills and do not hit people with additional charges for checking in luggage or seat choice. We are delighted Telegraph readers recognise how we stand apart from the pack."

Air Berlin serves five routes direct from Stansted (Düsseldorf, Hanover, Nüremberg, Munster and Paderborn) and one route direct from Mancheste(Paderborn). For UK customers the airline offers onwards connections to destinations worldwide via its Düsseldorf hub.
