AirAsia launches free seat campaign
AirAsia is launching a free seat campaign to celebrate its newly added frequencies and new services to the republic from East and West Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. The airline is giving away Free Seats to Singapore from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Pekanbaru, Phuket and Bangkok.

Guests will only have to bear the fuel surcharges, airport tax and admin cost. The free seat promotion will commence on 29-Oct-08 to 02-Nov-08 for the travel period of 01-Dec-08 to 31-Jul-09.

Kathleen Tan, Regional Head of Commercial AirAsia, said: “We are thrilled to be adding frequencies and introducing new services to Singapore and giving out free seats to our guests is the perfect way to share our excitement with them.  We have recently announced 7 daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore; the decision to increase flight frequency is in direct response to an increasingly strong demand for air travel between Singapore and the Malaysian as well as the Thai markets. It also further demonstrates our commitment to making air-travel convenient and affordable for everyone.”

She added, “Malaysia continues to evolve as a major hub in Asia, alongside the growth of AirAsia. While other airlines are cutting on routes, we are expanding and have the ability to serve the underserved markets. Our services and routes combined also mean a significant Asian network with many options and better convenience for travelers.”
