SkyEurope Holding AG in discussions with Flyholding S.p.A. for potential strategic alliance

SkyEurope Holding AG (“SkyEurope”) entered into negotiations with Flyholding S.p.A., the holding company of myair.com to explore a potential strategic alliance promoting operating synergies and economies of scale.

 

The alliance is intended to offer travellers extended geographical reach and improved destination choice at all price levels. Operating synergies will include potential cross utilisation of aircraft capacity, cross ticket selling, facilities sharing and resource pooling at airports where both SkyEurope and Flyholding S.p.A. have a presence. SkyEurope and Flyholding S.p.A. will also explore cross equity shareholdings subject to shareholders’ approval and regulatory clearance, where required.
