Skymark Airlines complied (24-Apr-06) with the Japanese Governments demand that it submit a business improvement plan

outlining how it will avoid a recurrence of its recent maintenance problems. In its submission to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Skymark stated that its future safety panel will include pilots, mechanics and flight attendants, and that it will revise internal rules and operational manuals and strengthen the training and education of workers. It is expected that the Ministry will grant the carrier approval for a new Tokyo Haneda-Sapporo service.
