Jet2.com launches new routes from Edinburgh Airport
Jet2.com has announced new destinations to be served from Edinburgh International Airport. Flights to Ibiza, Menorca and Venice are on sale and will start flying in summer 2009.

Jet2.com now fly to 11 European destinations from Edinburgh, including Avignon, Chambery, La Rochelle, Murcia, Pisa, Prague, Sardinia, Toulouse, Ibiza, Menorca and Venice.

The airline has recently launched a number of new routes from other northern bases including another new route from Edinburgh to Sardinia and Leeds to Croatia and Cyprus.

Philip Meeson, boss of Jet2.com, commented: “The addition of these three exciting new routes means we have something for everyone in the Edinburgh area including, city breaks, sunshine holidays and winter sport getaways. The routes have been launched due to high demand from residents in and around Edinburgh. As an airline, we are constantly seeking to improve and broaden the region’s access to fantastic destinations, and I feel the latest additions add a particular amount of variety to our route network.”
