Embraer names Flybe as authorised service center
Embraer and Flybe Aviation Services signed a five-year contract, naming the regional aircraft maintenance company as an authorised service center for the ERJ 145 and E-Jets families.

Flybe is an Embraer Parts Pool Program customer, and now joins the Company’s aviation services network. Flybe Aviation Services will have access to Embraer’s structure-specific repair solutions and extensive database, and will be entitled to handle airframe and warranty issues on behalf of its customers, including Flybe, which operates the EMBRAER 195 jet.

Leandro Laia, Embraer Vice President, Customer Support and Services – Europe, Africa and the Middle East said, “Flybe Aviation Services will provide qualified maintenance for Embraer commercial jets. We see this partnership as a very good opportunity to offer our customers a broader network of authorized service centers,” “While planning to expand our service center network in the region, we looked for expertise, reputation and competitive prices, in order to offer the best to our customers.”

This contract is a key part of Embraer’s plan to expand its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network in Europe, and the attractive new base in Southwest England will be an excellent site for customers to have their work done. The MRO company has invested extensively in specific ground support equipment, tools, material, and staff training.
