Jet2 announces new route from Blackpool to Menorca

Jet2 announced a brand new route from Blackpool to Menorca, in line with the launch of its summer ‘09 schedule.
The Balearic Island of Menorca is the latest route to be launched from Blackpool International Airport, which already includes routes to Spain, the Canary Islands, and new ski destination Geneva, marking Jet2.com’s commitment to increasing services from its northern bases.
Philip Meeson, boss at Jet2.com said: “As the north’s low cost airline, we are always seeking to broaden the choice of destinations from all of our bases.
“Blackpool is proving to be an increasingly popular departure airport, so of course we want to ensure our faithful customers – plus any new holidaymakers – have as many wonderful destinations to choose from as possible.”
