AirAsia opens sale for Kuala Lumpur-Manado route

AirAsia announces that it will be opening for sale a new route to Manado, a province in Indonesia from Kuala Lumpur. AirAsia is set to commence its inaugural flight with three direct weekly flights to Manado on 12-Sept-08.

 

Jointly, Manado is the low-cost carrier’s 15th destination and AirAsia is the first international airline to service the route from Kuala Lumpur.

Dato’ Sri Tony Fernandes, Group CEO, AirAsia Berhad said “We are delighted to be the first international airline to service this route from Kuala Lumpur as the city is the gateway to Southeast Asia. Now, our guests in North Sulawesi can also take advantage of our vast network to over 102 routes to Asean and the rest of Asia. To celebrate the open for sale for this route, AirAsia will be offering a promotional fare from as low as RM49* for the booking period from 22-27 Jul-08 for the travel period from 12-Sept-08 – 30-Apr-09.
