Monarch’s scheduled passenger numbers in June increases
Monarch continues to go from strength to strength with increases in passenger numbers, load factor and internet sales during June 2008 compared to the same period last year.

 

Passenger numbers (1):

*June 2008: 429,274
*June 2007: 407,223
*% change: +5.41%

Load factor (2):

*June 2008: 84.44%
*June 2007: 81.47%
*% change: +2.97%

Internet sales percentage (3):

*June 2008: 88%
*June 2007: 87%
*% change: +1%

Overall, for both scheduled and charter services, Monarch carried a total of 735,345 passengers during June 2008.

 

1. Represents the number of earned seats flown by Monarch. Earned seats include seats that are flown whether or not the passenger turns up because once a flight has departed a no-show customer is not entitled to change flights or seek a refund.

2. Represents the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of seats available for passengers.

3. Represents the percentage of total seats sold via www.monarch.co.uk
