Air Berlin Sales Director Carsten Kröger is going into business
Carsten Kröger, Sales Director at Air Berlin since 2001, announced he will be leaving the airline on 31-Dec-08 to start his own business. In equal partnership with Peter Merscher, Carsten Kröger will be running International Carrier Consult from his residence in Hanover. The new company will be acting as general sales agent for foreign airlines in the German-speaking area.

 

Peter Merscher founded "Merscher Carrier Consult" in 1988 and now represents Air Via (Bulgaria), Karthago Airlines (Tunisia) and Air Europa (Spain).
 
While he is still with Air Berlin, Carsten Kröger will be drawing up the Summer schedule 2009 and also conducting negotiations with tour operators.

Air Berlin’s board of directors has not yet appointed a successor.
