IndiGo to launch in Aug-06.

The Delhi-based carrier will initially operate Delhi-Guwahati-Imphal service, while Bangalore, Pune and Kolkata will be added on 10-Aug-06 and Chennai and Hyderabad on 20-Sep-06. The airline has 100 A320s on order with deliveries scheduled one per month for the remainder of 2006. The carrier has sparked a discounting war by offering introductory fares up to 60% lower than average on its initial services.
