The name of Jin Air holds several meanings. On one side, it comes from a Chinese character which is pronounced ‘jin’ in Korean, meaning ‘true’ or ‘genuine.’ It can also be interpreted to mean ‘jeans’, which will be a part of Jin Air’s employee uniforms.
Jin Air’s master brand logo illustrates a butterfly with blue and purple wing on bright green background, with an aircraft centre-placed. The butterfly signifies Jin Air’s service philosophy to assist customers to fly as lightly as a butterfly whenever and where-ever they want to.
The body of the aircraft, initially a Boeing 737-800, will be painted silver with tails in Jin Air green bearing the butterfly logo.
Jin Air’s slogan is ‘Fly, better fly Jin Air.’
Jin Air calls its employees ‘JINI,’ reminiscent of Aladdin’s magical genie. JINI Pilots and JINI Flying Mates will serve the customers in the air, while JINI Ground Staff will meet customers before and after flights.
Jin Air employee uniforms will be composed of jeans, t-shirts and jackets.
