vivaAerobus will offer discounts to “light passengers”

vivaAerobus has launched a new product for all passengers that travel with only “carry on” luggage. VivaAerobus is now offering a USD10 discount on the total fare per one-way trip for all passengers that elect not to travel with checked baggage.
Mike Szucs, CEO of vivaAerobus, said “This discount we are offering is part of a strategy of flying our planes lighter, having quicker turnarounds, and optimising our assets as well as our personnel… in times when the consumer is being squeezed by a slowing economy and higher inflation, the airlines are also being squeezed by the ever spiralling cost of fuel. In this tough environment, we think Viva’s price offering to consumers is remarkable.”
Discounts are only available at the time of making a reservation and only available on-line. vivaAerobus will also be offering discounts for those passengers who are aware that they will be carrying excess baggage prior to departure.
